Downtime Revamp v0.1.1 #
When PCs are at rest, and have periods of Downtime this is where they can dedicate themselves to trying various tasks. The list of downtime activities is to be used in.

Combat Training #
With enough time and a serviceable training or stand-in weapon you can pick up a Proficiency with a Weapon.
Resources #
Training with a Simple or Martial Weapon typically takes at least ten workweeks of dedicated study, but with a suitable instructor then the training takes only six workweeks, and if the Character possesses a Weapon Proficiency within the same Weapon Category (I.e. Simple, or Martial) as the one they’re learning, then this time is reduced by a number of workweeks equal to the Character’s Proficiency Bonus. Training costs 25 gp per workweek.
Complications #
Use the complication rules for
Notes:
XGE Options like "Work" give only flavour benefits (Lifestyle Quality [Poor, Modest, Comfortable]) on most rolls, and on the highest end it gives +25gp for a week of work, lower options clearly need to be revamped to do more than just add flavour.
